I love my Kindle but I was very frustrated with the experiemental web browser. While I know that browsing is not the primary function of the Kindle, I was excited to have this feature as my office has blocked web access to a number of sites, including personal email and I thought my Kindle would be a great alternative to that challenge as sometimes I just need to check my email quickly or get a contact from my directory or Facebook. Since I am one of the few people in the world who still does not own a smartphone and hates carrying around my netbook, I'd hoped the Kindle browser would be helpful. It was not. It would freeze my Kindle or when pages did load, the only thing that would load would be the banner. And then I saw this product and my life has changed for the better.

It installs quickly and navigation is the same as a Kindle book which makes it easy to use. Another reviewer said it is just a list that you could google and create yourself, but again since I am not really savvy about the mobile internet options, I would never be able to search and find all of these links on my own. The pages load quickly and usually at a site that is enhanced for mobile use. I love it. In the last hour since I purchased it, I have managed to check my email and my facebook account with no issues whatsoever.

There are a lot of categories and pages I may never use, but that still does not undermine my satisfaction with this browser. I will update my review later after some repeated use if anything changes, but this is the best thing I have purchased since my Kindle!

The author actually took the time to personally answer a question I had. I was impressed. Make sure you get the latest version of the book (version 3) with updated web links. I was so pleased with this product that I am going to get the Christian Web Browser book also.

When I got my , I'd "heard" about its experimental web browser. I really had no idea how to use it, and being enamored enough with getting books and games for my , I didn't give it much thought. Then, while scrolling through different games and apps, I saw this and realized it might be a good way to get to know the web browser feature. At a great price, I figured I couldn't lose, even if I didn't find it all that helpful. But I loved it! It contains a great list of websites, optimized for the , and makes the browser so easy to use.
